Rue Monge is one of Haussmann's many avenues that were carved through Paris, running south from the river and Notre Dame Cathedral.
The two Citroen 2CV's caught my attention while I was looking through the view finder trying to compose this shot. It was one of those "wing the exposure -- the moment is now" moments. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, although I'd have liked to have closed the aperture down a little more. Fortunatley I was shooting on a four thirds camera so I was provided with lots of depth of field.
