Another skyline shot -- taken from the Toronto Islands back in the early half of the summer. It was my least favourite of the shots but the colours are a bit fun. I over saturated the image (which was rather boring before) so it's lead to colour blur but shows the huge range of colour in the sky that night -- albeit more vividly than in real life.
Again, I can see VisualVault's building in the shot! Let's walk around the photo shall we? The big white-roofed thing at the middle is the 'SkyDome', now known as the 'Rogers Centre' (boo Rogers for renaming it). To it's left a series of residential condos make up 'CityPlace'. To the right is the CN Tower. To the right of the CN tower, the building with the triangular point on top of it, is MetroHall. MetroHall used to be the home of Toronto's Regional government before the member cities were amalgamated by the province into the 'MegaCity' of Toronto. Today the building is used as one of three main municipal offices.
To put things in perspective Metro Hall is probably about 25 soreys high. Granted it's a block or so north of the CN Tower.
