Syrop Valley

Last month I went to a Maple Syrop festival dinner at the Kortwright Centre conservation park in Vaughan. It was a lot of fun with an enjoyable dinner and then a candle-lit trail walk through the valley to see how maple syrop is made -- sampling was highly encouraged! ;)

It was incredibly dark with the exception of the firelight and candles along the trail and photographs were essentially impossible to take -- even at 3200 iso without a tripod, and even then the light might not have existed! I did like this one shot taken down in the falley looking up at the night sky, which, with a three second exposure, came out this lovely blue.
