This is a photo of Toronto's newest park. It's on the waterfront (i'm standing on the wooden boardwalk with the water behind me) and it's called an 'urban beach' because of the huge 'sandbox' it has in it (you can see someone sitting in it on the far left). It's actually quite large, bigger than this image lets on, and has a nice view of some of the Toronto skyline beyond. On the 'Beach' there are lots of nice movable and reclining wooden Muskoka Chairs. Beyond the beach are grassy knolls that have been constructed and at night time are lit up in brilliant colours. This is one of a series of different but innovative new waterfront park projects going on in Toronto right now and is called 'HTO' (TO being the abbv. for Toronto).
