The Bike and the Butcher Shop

I'd been out walking along Queen Street heading toward home from what is likely one of my new favourite hi-fi and vinyl shops in Toronto (it was my first visit) when I walked past this Butcher Shop. I had decided that all of the photos I would take today would be tonemapped HDR images and this scene looked to be perfect for it. To my luck, while I was scouting it out the woman (left) approached the door which gave the frame a nice balance between the door with the signage on the right and the plain door on the left. If only there had been a light dusting of snow it would have been perfect!

This looks very much like an English High street from the fifties

Love this Iain: just look at the architectural detail here and that pristine bike
A good h.d.r. shot Iain, these kind of places really lend themselves to it, I really like it.
