Just below the roofline windows is a band of stone carved with the original destinations of those cities and towns which the rail lines passing through this great building once served. While many are still served today about a dozen of the carved names have not seen frequent (if any) rail service for decades. These carvings are one of my favourite features of the building.

Thats one of my fave features too! Love the Union pics!!
It certainly looks to be a very impressive building.
