While I was out in Vancouver, on my return trip from Portland I had a chance to get downtown with an old friend of mine to take some photos and to see the city. I'd not been in Vancouver since I was about 12 years old and I don't remember it at all.
This great building is actually the Vancouver Public Library. The right hand is the 'coluseum' style library building and the building attached on the left is a government office building. It's a great combination and with the clouds and the time of day I was happy with how this photo turned out.
Vancouver has some lovely architecture and is a very interesting city. I'd love to have more time to explore it one day -- I was in town only for about 18 hours, afternoon saturday through sunday morning.
I'll try to get back to posting more of my Portland and PIttsburgh photos over the coming days too.
