Downtown MAX line
This is the second photo in my Portland series. As I mentioned before, many of these images will not be particularly artistic images, many will just be snapshots like this that I like because of how they depict the city. The puddle of watter here is distracting and annoys me a bit but adds some authenticity to the scene I suppose. This is one of Portland's many one way streets, this one with a MAX line, a large LRT that pulls through the centre of the city's "Transit Mall". It operates at grade with the rest of the road network through the downtown but has dedicated lanes. You're bound to see more photos of the MAX in upcoming posts
