As I look out my window at the cold dark night, snow on the ground and wind in the bare tree branches I couldn't help but to think back to summers on Georgian Bay. Georgian Bay, as many of you who follow my blog year-after-year will know, is a very special place to me and has been one of the 'static', never changing, things in my life.
I took this photo back in 2006 on my trusty old Olympus E-330, probably the best camera I've ever owned. My sister and I had gone up at the end of June to work on the cottage together and took our tin boat out to the "open water" near the lighthouse to watch the sun dip down over the horizon.
