This is one of the few remaining signs on Queen West that remind us of an era before the GAP, Aritzia, H&M, and HMV. Rumour has it that this now closed diner is only shut down temporarily while the owner, who's worked every day for decades, goes on a vacation for half the year. Either way, I loved the sign in the crisp, cold, bright winter light.

Nice work with the colors. A blue sign in front of a red 'sky' is startling at first, but it works very well.
