Bonsecours Market and Vieux-Port

The Bonsecours Market building as seen from Old-Port in Montreal. The City's old waterfront area is quite nice today with boardwalks and cycling paths as well as a series of parks and small islands that allow for lovely views back on the city such as this one. Of course, I gave away my secret -- those that might now know the city may have thought I jumped out on the concrete blocks ;)

What a delightful image, with the main architecture leaping from the screen. The detail is wonderful.

An imposing structure...I really like old-worlde architecture when it has been done well, like this. The greenery in front of the building adds further splendour. Great shot!
