Fattening up for Winter.... wait! Summer!?

This plump little squirrel was enjoying his lunch at College Park in Toronto and I have to say it was about as interested in me as I was in it. That little squirrel never once looked scared, more puzzled -- wondering what that big long telephoto lens I was waving around in his face was and why it kept 'clicking' (every time i hit the shutter release!). I took about 15 photos before I left to allow him/her to finish its lunch in peace. It was really cool to see how it broke the shell open with such ease.

Looks like he didn't go into hibernation over winter!
Iain Myrans: Nope, Toronto squirrels run around eating all winter long.
