Something I've never seen for myself Iain, I didn't realise they came in all shapes and sizes.

They make for a good picture too.

Is it fair to call them newsboxes when only two of them hold actual newspapers and the rest basically hold junkmail?

This is not your first newspaper box photo, and I find them an interesting subject. All those shapes and colours.
Iain Myrans: This is true. I've had a few over the years. I wonder why they seem to grab my attention -- I think it must be because they are actually quite colourful, bright, vibrant, diverse... yet kind of ugly? An unusual combination.

Actually working on this issue here in Florida, if you think 12 dispensers are bad, image 29 or so in a row in multiple locations...
