No Straight Lines

Last Sunday it was blisteringly cold and windy out but I still, foolishly as I discovered, ventured down into the financial district to take some photos. Winter light is never very good for architecture I've found, well at least tall building architecture because the sun is so low extending the size of the already big shadows and effectively making the entire downtown shaded all day long.  I found a little sunny spot just south of King Street behind Commerce Court. I was playing around with the framing to see if I could take a shot that had essentially no straight lines. I'm not sure how effective it is but since I'm sort on photos because of short days, a busy work schedule, and the cold grey snowless city, I thought I'd post it.

I like all the combinations here, colours, shape and strangely the texture created by the windows. I reckon you could play with this picture in photoshop.
