One from the Summer...

I've not been out with my camera in a while because of the business of the holiday season so I'm posting one from my archive of uploaded but never shared photos. I took this last summer on Georgian Bay. Using the E-330's articulating screen, and knowing my lens was weathersealed/splashproof, I thought i'd try taking a landscape shot with the lens almost in the water to exaggerate the size of the ripples. Enjoy this little touch of summer in the winter :)

I love that in the shadow of the waves you can see through the way. Excellent perspective.

I love this, the richness and the hint of detail below the water. Lovely angle of view too.

At first I didn't see anything different about the angle, but then I realize it's because I see the lake from this angle when I'm swimming. I just feel like I'm in the lake when I look at it. Nice! Love the reflection and refraction from the waves.
And it worked very well - this is a most unusual perspective for water. I wouldn't get mine anywhere near that close to water, despite its supposed sealing.

Brave man.
Iain Myrans: haha, well that camera wasn't weathersealed. I just bought the weathersealed Olympus E-3 about two weeks ago smile
