photoblog image Waters of Georgian Bay

Waters of Georgian Bay

This photo was taken last summer while cruising the Waters of Georgian Bay at sunset, on return to the marina. I liked the way the sun was so low in the sky and catching the boat with almost perfect side-lighting. Ah memories of summer -- I don't think there will be any more boating for many months to come at this point!

Really nice colors and tone - I like how the boat looks golden. Yes, afraid the summer will only be a memory for a while now, sigh...
Oh I love the yellow glowing with the late evening sun. Such an uplifting feel to this one. (:o)
I'm impressed by the depth of field you've got with such a wide aperture. The wide angle helps, of course, but this is incredibly sharp and I like the contrast you get with your shots generally.

This is a lovely composition too. Fine work
