Portlands Sunrise

I captured this Portland's Sunrise a number of weeks ago now while on an assignment dealing with Toronto's waterfront trail system. Sadly I missed the sunrise but the angle of the sun was still quite low. This was taken at Polson's Quay looking due-west at the downtown core and eastern-waterfront. I'd cycled down, leaving my apartment not long before 7am for the 30 minute ride to the Quay. It was a beautiful morning.

I thought it would be fun to get a mooring cleat in the picture but I'm not sure how well it turned out in th end. Even at f22 it is a little soft. Thankgoodness though for Olympus' Dust Reduction system -- otherwise I'm sure at f22 there would have been some dust spots!
