The Old Ojibway

The old Ojibway Hotel in Pointe au  Baril is one of the few remaining Great Lakes Hotels from the turn of the 20th Century. After going bankrupt in the 1960s with the introduction of cheap air travel it was bought by the local cottaging community. OVer the years the hotel building (upper left) and other amenities (such as the gift shop - bottom right - grocery store, cottages,  etc.) have all been restored.  I took this photo on Labour Day weekend  (at the start of September for those of you not in Canada).
