A view from the Leslie Street Spit, a long man-made extension out into Lake Ontario -- much of which has been built with the dredge of the Toronto Harbour. Today it has become a bird sanctuary and taken on a wild nature of its own. In the right of the image is the Outter Harbour Marina while in the background one can see accross to the Toronto Islands and the city beyond. I shot this while out on a ride on my bike one day about a month ago now.
