photoblog image Snack Bar

Snack Bar

Another photo from the Toronto Beaches taken on August 8, 2007 as part of my Waterfront Trails photogrpahy job. Snack Bar was taken with a polarizing filter rotated to exagerate the reflections of the beach in the window while taking away other glints. This also darkened the sky down a bit. How I love polarizers! I know some people hate them but they give such a nice effect -- especially with the Olympus colour palette!

Thank you to whoever chose to fly the flag! Without it this photo would be a million times weaker. I love how it offsets the reds from the left portion of the frame.
