Taken on September 8, 2007, The Beach Hut (Leuty Lifeguard Station) can be found at Toronto's Woodbine Beach in the City's east end. I've recently been commissioned to shoot a series of photos exploring the various sights along the Waterfront Trail between Pickering and Mississauga, Ontario.
All work here was done in a RAW file editor, no post processing per se was done to this image. I did use a circular polarizer on my camera to capture this picture.
The Beaches are a great Toronto attraction and if you look back in my Photo Archive you'll even find pictures of this hut in the depths of winter when it is equally as beautiful. The adjacent neighbourhood, known as "The Beach" as well, is worth a walk-through. Beautiful homes, both new and old, as well as a vibrant and exciting mainstreet make it worth the trip.
