Heaven, did you say?!
Iain Myrans: Most of northern Ontario (Starting about 3 hours north of Toronto is like this. An 'infinite' number of small lakes along with the huge 'great lakes' of course (Huron/Georgian Bay and Superior). If you'd like to see more try going into my archive and looking at the 'northern ontario' album.
I'm not sure what processing you've done, but I'm thinking the water wasn't quite that colour naturally? Looks good, but nothing like the northern Ontario lakes I know. (It could just be that I've never seen this particular lake, I guess.)
Iain Myrans: This one is over off 141 just south east of Parry Sound. I'm more of a Georgian-Bay'er (as my next few photos will demonstrate). It was still a lovely area. This is an HDR image so it was 5 exposures (2stops down, -1, , nutral, +1 and 1 stop up)blended together. I didn't change the colour of anything but creating an HDR plays with apparent saturation levels a bit.

What a beautiful spot! I wish I knew more about HDR, but what I do know is that you've captured a winner here. Well done!

I like this Iain, it hasn't got the strength of many of the HDR shots I've seen, they've come together to make a near perfect landscape picture packed full of lovely detail. There's also an illusion of movement in the lake, very clever. smile
