John and Queen HDR II

Hi Everyone,

Sorry i've not been around commenting as much as usual. I thought life would get less hecktic after finishing up my program but between work and catching up on everything i wanted to do in the last year i've not been online as much (or even taking as many photos).

This is a companion photo to the one I posted the other day at: http://sparklite.shutterchance.com/photoblog/John_and_Queen_HDR/  This image was taken around 6pm (before sunset) while the other was taken at about 9.45 (well after sunset). Ellie had commented that she didn't like the harsh skies on my last post so hopefully this isn't too harsh. The haylo effect around the buildings isn't great either but it was generated when the HDR was made up, i guess because of the light smoothing settings. Nevertheless, i hope you all like it. I do like the way the oly colours turn out in hdr.

Iain.

If you're interested drop by my VFXY page here.

This is an astonishing picture Iain. It's so clear, and so bright too.

Yes, I like the sky.

(PS visited vfxy wink )

I would like to experiment with the HDR, but I believe that asi must be complicated to do something.
Now I have put these two photos in line and ahead, back, ahead, back... and the result is impressive.
It seems that one ignites and the light is extinguished.
I recommend to you that you do it, is amused.
I like much the result, but also I must say that they seem unreal images.
Very good worksmile
P.D.: Any day I will try something similar wink
Another nice H.D.R shot Iain, its similar in style to some i've done myself, i haven't tried any for a while, you've given me inspiration, thanks Iain.
