That's clever.

Now I need a blow-by-blow account of how to achieve this.
Iain Myrans: Well, we took a 15 galon fish tank full of water, a few different coloured acrylic inks and used small droppers to drop the ink into the water. Different colours react differently in the water so there's a big variety to pick from. Focus has to be done manually but shooting at between f/16 and f22 helps. We shot through the side glass of the tank, put a white board behind the tank and a flash directly over the tank shooting down into it. smile That's about it!

Two of my favourite colours. Together. Fab!
Iain Myrans: Thanks Megs! smile these were fun to do but were a lot of work! I'm glad you like!
ya know, i just realised, while these do look damn cool... they also kinda look like a baby's finger painting.... in that kinda cool kinda way.... okay, moving on now wink
