photoblog image The Walk Home

The Walk Home

Another shot that I just took on a whim. This is the walk back to my appartment (in the background) from the subway. It had been snowing and the snow had settled nicely on the brances and looked like a true 'winter wonderland' so I thought i'd share it with you all.

Winter wonderlands are lovely no matter where! I like the footprints in the snow and that this is converted to mono.
Iain Myrans: The olympus cameras have an internal mono mode with internal filters which is fun. I think i used an orange filter in BW mode for this smile

Thanks for the comment Ginnie!

I'm glad the whim caught you, this is beautiful.

Clever Oly for helping you out, I'm off to investigate these filters and things!
Love the tones in this b/w - very well done!
