A mish-mash of newspaper boxes lining an intersection on Yonge Street. Most of you will know I rarely do this kind of post processing but I really liked the vividness and colours of the boxes amidst the grey, browns, and whites of wintertime Toronto. I just had to wait for a pedestrian and then snap away.
I created two versions of the image in Olympus Studio -- one in plain colour and one in black and white using a digital orange filter. I layered both versions and then masked the boxes and deleted the colour image layer leaving the black and white below.
