Skipping Stones on Lake Ontario

Skipping stones on the shores of Lake Ontario.

I took this one evening after doing some test shots on location for a wedding I was photographing. I took a few of these in the hopes of cathcing a ripple of water doing just what it is here. It was a stunning summer night. Starring in this picture is Katy. She was the love of my life but now she's onto other things I guess. I took this in the summer of 2005.

Intersting to see the shutterspeed, I would have thought it would need to be quicker. Now I know better. It's amazing what I can learn by looking at people's picture.

This one's nice too, as well as the ripples/waves you were trying to catch the sky is beautiful, it was clearly trying to match Katy's dress.

"Hello Katy" smile
Iain Myrans: Hey ellie smile .. well remember the focal length is only 5m (on a 2.2 crop) Shooting that wide you can stay steady pretty easily smile
Great colors !
