photoblog image The Old Gate

The Old Gate

I took this photo at Casloma a few years ago with my my friend's Canon Rebel. It was my first time out with a DSLR and I quite liked it (I'd only shot 35 SLRs before that although I did have my point and shoot digital then). I liked the way the sun came through the bottom of the gate so I kept the contrast low to capture that and the paint wear on the gate itself. Even in real life the once white paint had gone very dull.

Enjoy. and let me know what you think :)

That's really nice. Makes me want to go and peer through the gap between the gates. smile
