photoblog image Touring the National Cathedral

Touring the National Cathedral

Tourists taking a tour at Washington National Cathedral, Washington D.C. Not being aloud to use a tripod indoors I shot this from the floor. There was a constant stream of tourists on tours at the front of the Cathedral and while it would have been a nicer photograph without them, it would have been hard to time.

While the composition is a bit weak (partly due to the lack of a tripod/steady place to put my camera) I do really like the glow of the stained glass windows up on the celing.

Magical colours and the windows do look rather amazing. I hope you were able to take some more pictures to share. smile
