photoblog image University College

University College

University College at the University of Toronto. Like yesterday's post, this image was also shot for my Hart House darkroom course. The neg was developed by me but this version was scanned and tweaked in photoshop. The windows had blown out in my exposure so I decided to add some diffusion to this in photoshop and punch up the grain, for that 'old effect'. I only wish the cars weren't parked in front of the darn building!

Thanks for the email - I actually remember that!
Great shot, you should do more photos from UofT. I suggest UC personally. smile

Love the moody grainy feel to this one, very much to my taste. Mal

I know 'blown' isn't meant to look good, but here it does. It gives me the feeling that there's something wonderful happening inside that building.

Well done for both the course and the developing/printing. smile
Like very much the aspect of this picture !
