Well it's always a sad thing to pull our tin boat(s) out of the water each year. It means the summer season is well over and that the snow and ice is on its way. Our cottage is seasonal and at (Canadian) Thanksgiving we have to start closing things down for the winter (boats, water, shutters, etc.). It's all closed up now and it won't be until spring that we see it again.
Anyway, I liked the context of the boats up in the valley for this shot so I thought I would share it with you. You can see the lake beyond the trees.
