Ready for Winter

Well it's always a sad thing to pull our tin boat(s) out of the water each year. It means the summer season is well over and that the snow and ice is on its way. Our cottage is seasonal and at (Canadian) Thanksgiving we have to start closing things down for the winter (boats, water, shutters, etc.). It's all closed up now and it won't be until spring that we see it again.

Anyway, I liked the context of the boats up in the valley for this shot so I thought I would share it with you. You can see the lake beyond the trees.

--PP: None, just RAW processessing in Olympus Master.

A lovely bright but very peaceful shot.
Nice shot - evoctative. Hey - at least you still have leaves on the trees and some greenery. We're under about 5 inches of snow today. YUK!
Iain Myrans: Oh, this was in the que from about two and a half weeks ago now... But we don't have snow here at the moment in Southern Ontario. Where are you?
