Old Red Bricks

The side of an old building at the foot of University Avenue in Toronto. I miss having a telephoto! I just had rented it for the weekend when I took this.

Love the warm tones. It has a sort of voyeuristic feel to it even though you can't see in the windows
Iain Myrans: Hey AP -- thanks for the comment! smile I'm not as popular as I used to be in terms of comments wink Actually that's my fault I'm sure. I've not been commenting around as much since classes began in the fall. Ask VV, he hasn't been able to get ahold of me since the start of september! lol.

Thanks for the comment. I don't know why but I really liked this shot when i saw it on the screen originally. It's a bit plain I guess but I liked the patchyness of the lighting on it. Coming out of theatre lighting design it reminded me of a gobo-pattern but on a huge scale and in real life wink

I come across such buildings a MILLION times... but how come never notice or think of capturing it this way? smile I love the colours in this one, especially because most of the building is randomly shadowed. Does it make me a peeping-tom to admit I just noticed things in the windows? hehe

Your comment sorta made me jump back to Shutterchance tongue it wouldn't open on my computer and I'd given up hope of even trying. School starts soon, so it'll be busy, but I'll be around to comment every now and then. Can't wait for another shot from you smile take it easy this week!
Iain Myrans: That's funny. I was unable to get into shutterchance from my home ISP for a long while too. I had to cue things up at school and i wasn't able to get in to update. I won't be around as much commenting but I'm going to try to keep up the posts smile Nice to hear from you!
