photoblog image Crane City

Crane City

Construction at Concord's City Place near VV's place.

PP: A little dodging of the Canada Malting Building. I like how you can't see the ground on the mainland. The grassy area to the left is actually on a nearby island and is a small airport. The highway at the right edge of the image is actually an elevated highway and is also above ground-level.

I really wanted to frame this up with the Canada Malting building in the shot for the simple reason that it's the only old/historic building amongst all of this new development. I felt it anchored the image.

P.S. This is my 99th post! 100 tomorrow! :)

this is a great great greeeat shot! And about the background, I think the main focus of the shot was the construction... so a larger view of the greener path would have only distracted the viewer's attention. But I still like the boats in the sea and the clouds which act as a really nice backdrop.

superb capture smile have a lovely weekend.
