photoblog image Milk Crates in the Old Storage Shed

Milk Crates in the Old Storage Shed

I shot this picture at about the same time as I took the one of the old wheels in a junk yard while up at a Marina on Georgian Bay. I have to wonder... do you suppose that company is missing their milk crates? ;)

PP: Curves (to darken out the shadows). Nothing else.

i really like the old, rustic look to it. great use of light and shadows. i would clone out the black coil in the bottom right corner, it is kind of distracting.
I'm really diggin this. It looks like a normal toolshed, but is it? What is hiding back in the shadows. What secrets is the owner keeping there? Is it bodies? A caged monster? A hamster with a stage three turbo? One who would so brazenly display a multitude of stolen milk crates must be hiding a truly hideous secret.
Yes, they do infact store stage 3 hamsters, potent beasts to be sure, this is why they must keep them in milk crates.. See milk crates are actually dropped on earth by the GCCCCC to help protect their precious comodities while they are being transported arround by us puny humans. Since the COW's don't trust our ability to care for things, they gave us an indestructible transportation container, imbuned with magics from well beyond the galactic rim, that will keep thier 'product' safe, we just happened to discover how great these magical containers are and started using them for our own purposes....

Egads. I thought it was just a wonderfully rustic photo, not an intergalatic plot!

The coil is a little distracting, but that could be an adventage if there was slightly more of it. Hard to say. Love the shadows and the richness of warm coloured containers.

ahhh so that's what the crates are for.

I really love the colours here (weathered wood and faded red) and the shadows..
