Washington Monumnet At Night II

This is a followup to an earlier posting of the Washington Monument that I posted (click 'photo archive' to find it). This was taken from a different angle and is off-centre so that the Capitol apperas beyond. I'm not as big a fan of this one as the other image but that one didn't show the capitol. Again, sorry about the 'bittyness' that showed up after upload. It was a bit noisy to start with so I guess the shrink & sharpen process didn't help!

I'm posting this in Matt's honour now that he's left us here at Shutterchance. We're all thinkin' off ya! And we wish you'd come back!

I'm sure Matt would appreciate the tribute. You can be sure that he hasn't stopped the photography and you'll be able to see his photo's elsewhere.grin

I see that the photo you posted today is an early experiment in the "Rule of Threes" as there are three ducks in the reflecting pool. They seem to be representative of the three branches of American government executive, legislative and judicial. Or they could just be three ducks.
Iain Myrans: Oh good! Someone noticed them! wink Always trust an International Man of Mistery wink
