Rustic Barn I

One of the things I've always wanted to do was to get out to Rural Ontario to photograph some barns and this past weekend on the way back from Pointe Au Baril (see yesterday's photo) we spun through the little village of Moonstone, Ontario where I took a few shots of some nice old barns.

PP: Averaged 3 exposures. Then did stacks of stuff in colour before I decided it looked better in Black and White. Once in black and white I added some contrast back to the sky that was lost, and played with the grey curve.

I like! So is this an HDR shot? Like the framing with the plants in the forground..
Iain Myrans: I guess you could call it a pseudo HDR shot. It really is just an averaging of exposures but sometimes where there is high contrast it helps to bring out detail smile
